What is Workforce Management (WFM) ?
‘Workforce Management’ or WFM refers to the process and strategies applied in a workspace to improve the productivity of the employees. Workforce management is undertaken once the workforce analysis is completed to implement the suggestions from the analysis.
Workforce management involves forecasting as well as creating and managing labour requirements to achieve better performance from the employees as well as help them achieve better productivity.
It might also include the processes of hiring, budgeting, collecting and collating the employee data, forecasting of requirements, service management, performance and training as well as analyzing the results to check whether the desired results were achieved.
