What is E-recruitment?

‘E-recruitment’ is the umbrella term used to define the process of recruiting candidates using web-based technologies. It includes every step of the recruitment process like finding the candidates, attracting them, undertaking their assessments and interviews, and hiring them.

Migrating the process online helps in making the process of recruitment efficient and less time-consuming, while also being more economic for the recruiter. It also helps in reaching a wider pool of talent with minimum efforts.

Companies generally used specific software developed for e-recruitment to aid their online recruiting tasks. It will be able to parse through the candidate’s resumes and even comb through their social media profiles to find the perfect candidate for the role.
