Deep Learning

What is Deep Learning?

‘Deep Learning’ is a component of artificial intelligence, where the AI is fed with huge unstructured data sets and it is expected to come up with meaningful patterns.

It mimics human learning and hence, is also named ‘deep neural learning’. The learning might be unsupervised, semi-supervised, or supervised by a human being.

One needs to distinguish between machine learning and deep learning. While machine learning has a more linear approach to learning and scouring through huge data sets, deep learning is quicker as its approach is parallel. One can think of it as similar to the neurons of the brain functioning in parallel to achieve the same result.
