One-way Interviews

What are One-Way Interviews?

‘One-way Interviews’ refer to a new technologically focussed way of interviewing someone by asking them a set of questions and requesting them to answer those questions in a video recording, audio recording, etc.

Some companies would have specific modules in their HR software where the candidate can directly upload the videos into the company’s portal. These kinds of one-way interviews are also referred to as on-demand interviews.

The main benefit of one-way interviews is that it saves time for both the recruiter as well as the candidate as they need not schedule a meeting. Similarly, it also helps the candidate as they might not have enough time to personally go and meet the employer as they might be busy with their current job.
