Mediation Services

What is Mediation Services?

‘Mediation Services’ act as mediators in case of disputes between employers and their employees. They are the first point of mediation before resorting to expensive legal lawsuits.

As they are the ones who need to act as a mediator, they should be independent third party agencies who should not have any vested interest in either of the disputing parties.

However, such mediators do not have any legal authority and their decisions are not binding. Hence they can only comment and provide their opinion based on the facts and evidence provided. If both the parties agree to a solution recommended by the mediation services, then the dispute shall remain solved, else, they are free to seek legal advice.
