Diversity

What is Diversity?

‘Diversity’ refers to the fact that humankind is diverse in nature with a varied number of races and cultures with their own social and political structures. We can live in peace on this planet once we understand that diversity is the strength that keeps us together as a whole.

Diversity helps in identifying that an individual belongs to a particular race or religion and is coming from a certain country. However, trouble arises when people become obsessed with their own individuality and proclaim their own race and culture to be superior to others. This gives rise to racism and it creates trouble for everyone involved.

Concerning HR, diversity can be achieved by providing equal opportunities to minorities in the company. It can also be observed by monitoring the employees and taking strict action against any kind of discrimination based on anyone’s demographics or even race, culture, or language.
