Workforce Planning

What is Workforce Planning?

‘Workforce Planning’ is the term used to denote the process of analyzing the workforce of a company to understand the future workforce requirements based on the number of employees and their skills.

As with any kind of planning, workforce planning is undertaken after setting a specific set of goals and defining a path to achieve those objectives, which is achieved with workforce planning.

Workforce planning helps the company decide when to start recruiting and whether the employees need the training to undertake their tasks efficiently. It also lets the HRs define the requirements based on the predefined short-term and long-term objectives.
