What is Instructional Design ?

‘Instructional Design’ refers to the concept of making someone learn the concepts by making them apply the same in practical situations. In other words, it is the concept of developing learning materials and experiences in such a manner that facilitates the application of the knowledge being imparted.

Generally, industrial design follows the path of assessing the requirements, developing a process to fulfil these requirements, implementing it and evaluating the effectiveness of the process.

The aforementioned path is abbreviated as ADDIE model, with the acronym standing for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. This kind of instructional design helps in the workforce acquire new skills while making sure that those skills are being used effectively in the daily working of the company.
