What is Gender Divide?

 

‘Gender Divide’ is the difference between the genders that exists in society. With respect to HR, it refers to the differences existing between the treatment of male and female employees by the employer as well as the job marketplace as a whole.

 

Gender divide exists mostly with respect to hiring, salary payment, job responsibilities, benefits provided as well as the treatment by the superiors and colleagues.

 

With the advent of millennials, multiple companies has recognised the importance of accepting the gender divide and is taking adequate measures to make sure that such kind of discrimination is not taking place in their workspaces while fulfilling their daily duties.
