What is Unemployed ?

‘Unemployed’ refers to the state of living without any kind of job or remuneration where the individual is an adult and they may or may not be available for work.

Unemployment is usually measured as the unemployment rate which is the percentage of people who are unemployed to the populace of a location who are in the working age bracket who are available for work.

Unemployment might happen due to any of the following factors:
Invention of new technologies making workers obsolete.
The economic status of the location, for example, recession.
Competition with other cheaper labourers due to globalization
Government policies
Job market regulations
