Injunctive Relief

What is Injunctive Relief?

‘Injunctive Relief’ or ‘injunction’ refers to an order by a court of law, which restricts a party from doing certain work or makes them perform a task in a particular fashion.

Concerning HR, it would be given by the court to a company or employee to restrict their actions in cases where it is required and a formal law is not available to resolve the issue immediately.

Injunctions are mostly granted in cases where monetary benefits are not sufficient to remedy the situation at hand. For example, when an employee is found to perform fraud, they might be asked to not leave the city by an injunction.
