What is Workplace Phobia?

 

‘Workplace Phobia’ is a kind of phobia induced by acute anxiety towards one’s workplace and the experiences related with it. There are several reasons due to which one might experience it.

 

A major reason for workplace phobia is previous negative experience such as bullying, sexual assault, verbal intimidation, etc. However certain individualistic characteristics such as inferiority complex or introversion might also lead to workplace phobia due to the social nature of the workplace.

 

There are various studies related to workplace phobia and they have concluded that it is curable through a variety of techniques which include therapy sessions, drugs as well as long term strategies to come out of it.
