Vaping

What is Vaping?

‘Vaping’ refers to the practice of smoking with e-cigarettes. It is used in places where traditional smoking is banned such as company premises. It is also considered to be safer than normal smoking due to the reduced nicotine content as well as no risk of passive smoking for others nearby.

Since e-cigarettes use a mixture of propylene glycol with nicotine and added flavors in the liquid form, they can be vaporized and inhaled using the cigarette-shaped ‘atomizer’. Hence, it is called vaping.

There are many reasons for someone to prefer vaping instead of traditional smoking such as reducing the nicotine intake, the ability to smoke in non-smoking zones as well as ‘feeling’ the smoking-induced bliss in a reduced-nicotine environment.
