Gender Pay Gap

What is Gender Pay Gap ?

‘Gender Pay Gap’ refers to the difference that has been existing in the compensation packages provided to males and females having similar experience and skill sets for working in the same role.

Many companies are trying to combat the same by implementing various trainings and sessions to make the senior management aware of this issue and help them understand the importance of viewing every gender without any prejudice.

There have been various legislations which have come into the picture due to the multiple women empowerment movements. This has helped a lot in reducing the existing gender pay gap and empowering women to take up roles which have been traditionally male-dominated.
