Accessibility

What is Accessibility?

Grammatically speaking, ‘Accessibility’ refers to the quality of being able to understand and use something. In the world of HR, it refers to the practice of modifying the office spaces, work tools and environment such that it becomes easy to use for a person with disabilities.

Every country has its regulations for accessibility, and any company operating within the bounds of a country is required to implement the same at their workplaces.

These guidelines are imposed strictly as the lack of these accessibility options might lead to a huge disadvantage for someone with disabilities leading to various kinds of emotional issues like stress, demotivation, depression, etc.
