Portfolio Career

What is Portfolio Career?

‘Portfolio Career’ is the term used to define a person’s career who does not follow the traditional career path. Such an individual’s career path will be jotted with multiple freelance and temporary jobs than a permanent one.

A person choosing the portfolio career path will be more interested in maintaining a better work life balance. In this pursuit, they might even take up multiple freelance projects or undertake multiple part time jobs simultaneously to sustain themselves.

Portfolio careers have become more popular recently with the penetration of the internet and the additional penchant for having a better work life balance. The ‘break the mould’ attitude has also given rise to more individuals taking up portfolio careers as a lifestyle choice.
