Early Return to Work Program

What is Early Return to work program?

‘Early return to work program’ or ERTW programs are the initiatives a company takes to ease the return of employees coming back from long leaves, especially when the return is earlier than expected.

Companies might try to lure back the employees by reducing the working hours or even providing additional aid in their normal working like software and other equipment if required.

It is a well-known fact that the longer an employee is away from their work, the longer it takes for them to gain back their efficiency. It also takes time to cultivate the confidence and motivation required for working in the same vigour one were working before remaining absent for so long.
