Disease Management

What is Disease Management?

‘Disease Management’ refers to the comprehensive actions taken to curb diseases and improve the health of a collective group of individuals. Here, the collection of individuals might range from a small team in a company to the total populace of a country!

When it comes to the latter, the government is in charge of disease management and even the diseases being acted upon would be common diseases that are rampant in the country.

When it comes to companies, the HR department is in charge of disease management. Similarly, at this level, even the common cold can be a greater evil because the employees sit close to each other in a workspace. Hence the HRs create awareness with presentations as well as put up posters promoting hygiene in the workplace.
