Performance Review

What is Performance Review?

The term ‘Performance Review’ is used to denote the formal review of an employee by their supervisor based on their performance. The review usually includes the performance details of the employee, their strengths and weaknesses as well as provide feedback for their performance.

The performance review will also include future goals for the employee to achieve. The review used to be an annual affair for the companies; however, with the change in the mindset of the employees and the modern HR, companies are realizing the importance of continuous reviews and implementing it.

When the reviews are conducted correctly via employee performance management tools, it helps the employee to understand where they are doing well, understand their shortcomings as well as align their career goals with the organizational goals to help them achieve success.
