Human Resource Planning

What is Human Resource Planning?

‘Human Resource Planning’ refers to setting the goals for the HR department and planning the process to achieve that goals within a predefined time.

The origin of the term is in the year 1994 when Bulla and Scott defined it as, ‘the process for ensuring that the HR requirements of an organization are identified and plans are made for satisfying those requirements’.

It is a well-known fact that employees who are satisfied with their job would also be more productive, which helps the company gain more revenue as well as gain a good reputation in their respective marketplace.

Hence, companies implement human resource planning by having a discussion with the HR department to make sure that the employees are satisfied as well as plan for the future so that the employees continue with the company.
