Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

What is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)?

‘Enterprise Resource Planning’ refers to an all-encompassing software that provides the workflow and related metrics to the various departments of an organization. As it integrates several different sections of the company, a powerful database is used to keep the data safe and secure.

It allows the key management personnel to manage the resources of the company and manipulate the workflow to make sure that the company is operating under maximum efficiency. It optimizes the flow of information and helps the leaders of the company take necessary decisions based on the data provided by the system.

As different companies have different structures, ERPs are built as modular software with the ability to add or remove modules as and when required. They are also instrumental in planning and achieving future goals and targets.
