‘Human Resource Information System’ is a software that helps in managing the employees of a company and supporting the HR department with their daily duties. Usually, HRIS is implemented using the SaaS software delivery model.

 

As the HR department has evolved from a simple administrative section to an integral part of the company which also helps it in achieving success. Due to this increased responsibility, the HR department has become all the more complex. The HRIS helps in handling these responsibilities by automating most of the common tasks of the HR.

 

Modern HRIS even has the option to generate automated reports as well as email the same to the authorities to gauge the overall status of the company and make necessary changes. As technology advances, even more advanced features such as machine learning, chatbot, and artificial intelligence are being used to make the HRIS more intuitive.
