January has been a busy month for our development team since we have enhanced numerous functions of our favourite HRMS software. As you can view below, we have concentrated on the employee, the candidate as well as the manager in this update. Auto Shift Assignment
The Hr or Administrator can define shift ranges for ‘In’ and ‘Out’ punches using the ‘Auto Assign Shift Import Time’ option. It automates the shift assignment function.
Path: Cloud > Settings > Attendance > Attendance Settings > Auto Assign Shift Import Time
The HR or Administrator can enable or disable the auto-shift assignments based on the category, department, and designation of the employees. By enabling this option, the system will capture the nearest shift timing on the employee’s punch-in and punch-out.

Single Punch Shift
With this option, the employee needs to punch once during their shift and their attendance will be updated according to the shift assigned to them.

Same Priority for Leave Approval Managers
We can set multiple managers at the same level and define different responsibilities regarding the approval of leave requests. For example, we can set one manager for approving the request, meanwhile other managers can be assigned to oversee the approval.

Manager Remarks in Travel Request
Manager can add remarks while sending the travel request email to their employee.
Admin/HR Rating Report in ESS
The employee can download report of the ratings given by Administrator or HR from their ESS Portal.

Attendance Regularization Report
The HR or Administrator will be able to download the Attendance Regularization Report separately now.
Path: Cloud > Analytics > Reports > Attendance > Attendance Regularization
State-wise Statutory Reports
The HR or Administrator can view and update report status from the Cloud Portal as state-wise statutory reports are now available in Pocket HRMS. This data reflects in a calendar view with relevant dates for easy overview.

Compliance Dashboard and Monthly Calendar
The Compliance Dashboard allows the user to select states and provide a monthly overview of the pending and submitted reports. It also highlights upcoming important dates when the reports are required to be submitted.

It will provide in-depth details such as the applicable form no., frequency, upcoming deadlines, etc. It has multiple filters such as the month and year, based on which, one can download the report and check last downloaded report history.

Escalation Matrix
The Administrator or HR can now define a reporting and escalation matrix without changing the reporting manager for an employee. The Reporting Matrix and Escalation Matrix has four options:
- Employee Code
- Reporting Manager
- ESS Role
- Department Head
The features of Escalation Matrix include:
- Auto Approval Flow: Easily set multiple level approval mechanism in your company. The requests would be automatically approved after the set number of days.
- Approval with Escalation Workflow: Powerful new feature that allows you to configure a detailed approval workflow with escalation mechanism. Precise notifications ensure that no request is left unanswered to help improve employee engagement.

Skill Repository
A skill repository has been established for both employees and candidates.
Skill Masters Screen Path: Cloud > Settings > Recruitment > Skill Repository
ESS Path: Hire > Candidate > Candidates > Rate a Skill.
ESS > Hire > Candidate > Candidates > Rate a Skill.
Unique PAN Number Allocation
The PAN Number is now unique for candidates while applying for a job.
Path: ESS > Hire > Candidate > Add Candidate & Career Page.
Bulk Asset Mapping
Assets can be mapped in bulk using Pocket HRMS.

Enhanced Candidate Report
The Administrator or HR can download an enhanced candidate report from Pocket HRMS.

One-click Candidate Documents Download
The HR or Administrator can download all candidate documents with a single click.

Multiple Job Types
The HR or Administrator can add select from the multiple job types.

Multiple Email IDs for Interview Scheduling
The recruiter can send emails to multiple IDs for scheduling interviews.
