‘Climate Surveys’ are the kind of surveys that measure comprehensive employee engagement and are not related to any specific department. They are referred to as ‘climate surveys’ as they help in understanding the general ‘climate’ of a workplace.

 

It is commonly used by HRs to gauge how engaged the workforce is and how they perceive the company overall. The surveys themselves might range from simple queries to 15-20 minute question-answer sessions.

 

The results of these surveys influence future decisions taken by the administration and these decisions should ideally pave the way for making the company more employee-centric.

 

As climate surveys are a kind of feedback, it helps the employee understand how significant of an asset they are to the organization. Hence, we can infer that it promotes employee engagement and job satisfaction.
